Who Attends CADMEN's Mississauga Programs
The 3-student cap means CADMEN sessions draw people who want focused correction, not large classroom instruction. The typical student is one of:
- An apprentice in their first or second year who wants their fade technique tightened before the next in-shop assessment
- A certified barber with years of experience who wants to clean up a specific skill (beard work, skin fades, scissors)
- A career changer who has completed a school program and wants live-client reps before starting their first barbershop role
- A barbershop owner or manager who wants to improve their own technique alongside business coaching
CADMEN's programs are not designed for absolute beginners with no clipper exposure. The 2-day format is built to compress improvement for people who have foundational familiarity and want real-time correction at volume.
The Instructor: Francis Paua
Francis Paua teaches every CADMEN in-person session. 25 years of professional barbering. Clients include athletes from the NBA, NFL, NHL, TFC, and CFL. He has trained barbers who now teach internationally, including for global brands. Former member of the BaByliss Pro Barberology Team. He has competed at industry events across Canada.
Every student gets Francis watching and correcting every cut they make across the full 2 days. This is the core of what CADMEN charges for: not curriculum or classroom time, but correction density from a barber with 25 years of professional experience at this specific skill.

What CADMEN Is Not
CADMEN is a private training institution. It does not provide Skilled Trades Ontario apprenticeship hours or Certificate of Qualification pathways. Completing a CADMEN program does not give you a provincial barber or hairstylist license. CADMEN programs are skill training that sits on top of the formal licensing path, not as a replacement for it.
If your goal is full provincial certification, you need to register as an apprentice with a sponsoring employer through Skilled Trades Ontario. CADMEN helps you develop the technique that makes you competitive for apprenticeship positions and better in the chair once you are registered.
