Can a teenager take a barber class?

Yes. CADMEN has taught students as young as 14. Every booking goes through our class coordinator, who confirms age details for each student and explains what parents need to know.

Why start barbering as a teen?

  • A real skill early. Teens who learn now can cut friends, teammates and family for years.
  • A career test. Two days shows whether they love the work before they choose a path after high school.
  • Confidence. Every finished cut is a result they can see and photograph.

What do teens learn in a fade class?

The CADMEN fade course runs two days. The educator demonstrates, then the student cuts live models with different hair textures and head shapes while the educator watches and corrects each cut. Fading and blending get most of the time. Read how the two-day method works.

  • Students leave with a CADMEN certificate of completion and before and after photos and video of their work.
