Getting there takes one piece of local knowledge. Osgoode station lost its main corner entrance in 2024, and the 501 streetcar left this stretch of Queen in 2023. This page covers every working route, exit by exit.
What happened at Osgoode station
The northeast entrance at Queen and University was demolished in 2024 to make room for Ontario Line construction. The station itself never closed.
Line 1 trains still stop at Osgoode all day. The remaining entrances stay open. For the shop, use an exit on the west side of University Ave, because 240 Queen St W sits west of the station.
Walking from Osgoode station: about 3 minutes
Osgoode is the closest subway station to the shop. The walk is roughly 300 metres.
- Take Line 1 to Osgoode.
- Exit on the west side of University Ave.
- Walk west on the north side of Queen St W.
- Pass St Patrick St. The shop is a few doors further at 240 Queen St W.
- Find the street level door marked 240 and take the stairs to the 2nd floor.
Walking from St Patrick station: about 10 minutes
St Patrick station is one stop north of Osgoode, at Dundas and University. It is a solid backup when Osgoode is packed.
- Exit at Dundas St W and University Ave.
- Walk south on University Ave to Queen St W.
- Turn right on Queen and walk west.
- 240 Queen St W is on the north side, a short walk past St Patrick St.
Walking from St Andrew station: about 9 minutes
St Andrew station is one stop south of Osgoode, at King and University. The route is a straight line north, then west.
- Exit at King St W and University Ave.
- Walk north on University Ave to Queen St W.
- Turn left on Queen and walk west.
- The shop is at 240 Queen St W on the north side, one flight up.
Skip the 501 streetcar
The 501 Queen streetcar has been off this stretch of Queen since 2023. Ontario Line construction pushed it onto a detour, so it does not stop in front of the shop.
Plan around the subway instead. Line 1 to Osgoode, then 3 minutes on foot, beats waiting on a diverted streetcar every time.
Finding the 2nd floor entrance
The entrance is a street level door marked 240 on the north side of Queen St W. One flight of stairs takes you up to the shop.
