Fade Course for Beginners

The fade is the cut most new barbers want to master first, and it is the one clients ask for most.

CADMEN Barber Academy runs a two-day fade course built for beginners. You work on live models, about ten cuts across the two days, with a working barber guiding each pass of the clippers.

Licensing, stated plainly

Ontario regulates hairstyling as a skilled trade with an apprenticeship path and a Certificate of Qualification. Barbering skill itself can be learned privately. CADMEN Barber Academy is a private training studio. It does not grant a hairstyling licence, Skilled Trades Ontario apprenticeship hours, or a registered career college credential. If your goal is the provincial certificate, you earn that through the apprenticeship and exam process. If your goal is to cut hair well and start working or building a client base, private hands-on training puts you on real heads fast.

Do I need experience for the fade course?

No. The course is built for beginners. It takes you from the basics to clean, repeatable fades on live models.

How long is the course?

Two days, focused on live cutting with feedback rather than lecture.

Is a licence included?

No. CADMEN is a private studio that teaches cutting skill. It does not issue a licence or apprenticeship hours.
