Barber Course in Mississauga | Private Hands-On Training at CADMEN Barber Academy
Barber Course in Mississauga
A barber course should leave you able to cut hair on a real person, not just pass a written test. That is what private hands-on training is built for.
CADMEN Barber Academy runs its barber course in Mississauga, Ontario. The studio sits at 1684 Lakeshore Road West, Unit 18B. Classes stay small on purpose, capped at three students, so you spend the day cutting and getting corrected instead of watching from the back of a room.
What the training gives you
- Two-day fade class with roughly ten live haircuts per student
- Direct coaching from working barbers, anchored by co-founder Francis Paua, who has 25 years in the trade and has cut for NHL, NBA, TFC, and CFL clients
- Beard and scissor work available as added classes
- A clear path into online barbershop business coaching if you want to own a shop later
Licensing, stated plainly
Ontario regulates hairstyling as a skilled trade with an apprenticeship path and a Certificate of Qualification. Barbering skill itself can be learned privately. CADMEN Barber Academy is a private training studio. It does not grant a hairstyling licence, Skilled Trades Ontario apprenticeship hours, or a registered career college credential. If your goal is the provincial certificate, you earn that through the apprenticeship and exam process. If your goal is to cut hair well and start working or building a client base, private hands-on training puts you on real heads fast.
Common questions
Do I need any experience to start?
No. Most students in the fade class start as beginners. The class is built to take you from the basics to confident, repeatable cuts on live models.
Is this a licensed barber school?
No. CADMEN is a private training studio in Mississauga. It teaches barbering skill on real heads. It does not issue a hairstyling licence or apprenticeship hours. The provincial certificate is a separate apprenticeship and exam path.
How many students are in a class?
Three at most. Two is the usual size. Small classes mean more cutting time and more direct feedback for each student.
