Barber Classes in Calgary: What a Hands-On CADMEN Class Looks Like
Videos teach you the vocabulary. They do not give you a second set of eyes on your clipper angle.
CADMEN hands-on classes in Calgary run inside Barber Culture, a working barbershop at 1211 Kensington Road NW. You learn in a real shop, on real people.
Who the class is for
Beginners who have never held clippers. Barbers who want cleaner fades. Tell us your experience level and our class coordinator places you in the right course.
What a fade class day looks like
The fade course runs over two days. The educator demonstrates first. Then you cut a live model while the educator watches, corrects and shows you again. Fading and blending get most of the time because that is where new barbers struggle.
Groups stay small, so your work gets checked on every cut.
Models are arranged for you
You do not need to bring a model for fade training. Live models are booked before the class.
What you leave with
A CADMEN certificate of completion for the course you complete, and the haircuts you did over two days.
What this class is not
CADMEN classes are private skills training. They do not give a trade certificate, a licence or apprenticeship hours.
